Yep it's that easy; at least that is what the folks who promote Buy Owners and Discount Brokerages will tell you. Before you choose one of these methods, ask yourself "am I prepared to go through all the hassle?"
The truth is that selling a home in any market condition involves careful planning and in this unsettled market place you better know what your are doing.
Ask yourself one simple question "how many homes have I sold this month" if your answer is "none" get a Realtor.
Realtors will assist you with the following:
* Preparing the home to maximize sale price.
* Marketing the home.
* Understanding contracts and offers.
* Understanding closing documents.
* Closing the sale.
If you are truly interested in selling your home, enlist a Realtor (even if it's not me). If you think we're not worth the money, try the Buy Owner route and know that Realtors eventually sell over 80% of all FSBO's.
