How is buying a home like buying a loaf of bread?

Here goes.

Buying a loaf of bread.

1. You walk up to the aisle
2. You look around
3. You see a loaf you like
4. You go and squeeze, smell, etc. the loaf
5. You look around to see if there's a better loaf
6. You try another loaf, but your not satisfied
7. You go back to your original loaf
8. You squeeze, smell, etc. again
9. You make the decision to purchase
10.You check to see if there's a coupon involved
11.You check out and take this glorious loaf of bread home.

(Actually, since you squeezed and smelled this loaf you probably took the loaf next to it.)

Buying A Home

1. You walk up to the neighborhood
2. You look around
3. You see a home you like
4. You go in and squeeze, smell, etc. the home
5. You look around to see if there's a better home in the neighborhood
6. You try another home, but you are not satisfied.
7. You go back to your original home
8. You squeeze, smell, etc. again
9. You make the decision to purchase
10. You make an offer (coupon discount)
11. Your offer is accepted and you take this glorious home and fill it with bread

(Actually you start to panic because you really want yours neighbor's home.
It's called buyers remorse.)
