As a lawyer, I have counseled clients on a bunch of large and complex deals in the millions of dollars. However, when it came to buying a new house, we needed a professional who knew the real estate ropes inside and out. In Javier Gonzalez, we got the consummate agent who counseled us on ever facet, from looking for the right house, negotiating the purchase price and getting the sale closed. As you know, due to market conditions, Amy and I were forced to rent our house initially. We were able to do this at a very attractive number while living in another state because of you and your staff. I doubt that any other Realtor would have made us feel as comfortable in this predicament as you did.

Back in 2001, I was working with an agent of whose name I can't remember. Anyways, it was a pretty bad experience but I had no clue at the time because it was my first experience. I was finding all the houses I liked, by myself, but no houses were brought to my attention. And the agent lost me a house to another buyer because of improperly filed paperwork. So, I had lost confidence I was gonna find a house I'd fall in love with.
Then one day I'm searching the Grove for a house and meet Jav, who's having an open house. We chat about what I'd like and I write my phone number and address down and think nothing of it. That night, he calls me and tells me he's gonna put a few places in my mailbox that he thinks I'll dig. I go out there and there's at least 15 homes. I go check them out and they're great. They're what I was hoping to find but didn't. I gave my other agent notice and went with Jav. He then transformed into a house hunting animal and was pulling places out of the woodwork.
Not to make a long story longer, but as I was about to come to a signed agreement on a ridiculously great Gables home, he pulled out another piece of paper with a newly listed house on the street I told him I'd absolutely love to live on. Within weeks we had closed on the house and I was a home owner.
Since them, he's always been there for me and goes above and beyond. I've recommended him to dozens and dozens of friends and he's done the same for them. Sorry for the rambling description, but Javier rocks and I'm glad I found him when I did.

Both transactions were stress free and befitting of the flip flops he wears I think in part as a badge of honor. But do not let the flops deceive you, he is knowledgable, professional and responsive.
