There are a million of them out there and choosing one can be subjective.

Each contractor has their own specialty. Your budget project details and timeframe are major factors in choosing a contractor.

I've had many experiences where one customer is completely satisfied with a contractor and another customer thinks the contractor stinks.

Consider these points when choosing a contractor:

  • They bid on the scope of the job. Small jobs usually cost more than you expect.

  • They quote in today's cost, don't expect the same price 60 days later.
  • There are 3 types of pricing out on the market. Good, better, best. Be prepared to pay accordingly.

Always try to get at least 3 quotes for your project.

Remember price, timing and scope should influence your selection.
