Architect

The forgotten guys of winter.

Ahhhh, but when summer rolls around these guys cash in. -They actually spend their winters on their very own Caribbean island-

Maintenance, Maintenance, Maintenance!

Maintenance will save you dollars and from miserable South Florida nights.

The first step in all construction projects is setting a budget, and then hiring an architect so that he can spend that budget (and probably more) for you.

They will work with you to design the home of your dreams.

A couple of things to keep in mind when choosing an architect:

Architects are like contractors, they subcontract parts of the jobs such as mechanical, electrical and structural drawings.
Have a clear idea of what you want design wise. Clip out photographs and floor plans you see in magazines. Photograph houses you like and make notes of materials used.
Remember they work for you, if you don't like something tell them. They need feedback and are used to the comments.
